Spa2You
Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09-15
The agreement between you and Spa2You when you use the app, whether as a customer booking services or as a provider offering them.
1. Agreement
These Terms are a contract between you and Spa2You Africa Limited, Lagos, Nigeria ("Spa2You", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Spa2You app or website you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Spa2You.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law.
2. What Spa2You is
Spa2You is a marketplace that connects customers with independent beauty and wellness professionals and businesses ("providers"). Providers are not employees or agents of Spa2You. The service itself — the treatment, its quality and its safety — is delivered by the provider under a contract between the provider and the customer. Spa2You provides the platform, verification, messaging, booking and secure payment handling.
3. Your account
You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You must verify your email address, and providers must also verify a phone number. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us immediately if you think your account has been used without your permission.
One person may hold one account. An account can be used in customer mode and, after provider onboarding, in provider mode.
4. Bookings
A customer requests a service at a date, time and location, or agrees terms with a provider in chat. The provider accepts, declines or proposes a different time. Once terms are agreed the customer pays, and the booking is confirmed.
Both parties must honour a confirmed booking: the customer by being available at the agreed time and place, the provider by attending and delivering the agreed service. Either party should use the app to tell the other about any change as early as possible.
5. Payments and escrow
Payments are processed by Flutterwave. Spa2You does not receive or store your card details. When a customer pays, the amount is held by Spa2You in escrow. It is released to the provider only after BOTH the customer and the provider confirm in the app that the service was completed. Neither party can release it alone.
Spa2You charges providers a commission on each completed booking. The current rate is available from support and is reflected in the earnings shown to providers in the app; the amount is deducted before payout. Prices shown to customers include everything the customer pays; there are no hidden fees.
Providers are paid to the bank account they verified in the app. Payouts are made in Nigerian naira and may take a few business days to arrive after release. Providers are responsible for their own taxes on income earned through Spa2You.
6. Cancellations, no-shows and refunds
Before payment, either party may cancel a request or negotiation at no cost. An unpaid booking that is not paid for by the agreed time expires automatically.
After payment, a customer who cancels may be charged a cancellation fee, with the balance refunded. If a customer does not turn up or cannot be reached at the agreed time, the provider may record a no-show, in which case part of the payment compensates the provider and the rest is refunded. The fee that applies is shown in the app before you confirm the cancellation.
A provider cannot cancel a paid booking through the app. A provider who cannot honour a paid booking must contact support so the customer can be refunded in full.
Refunds are returned by Flutterwave to the original payment method once approved, and can take several business days to appear.
7. Provider obligations
If you offer services on Spa2You you confirm that you are qualified and legally permitted to provide them, that your listing, prices and photos are accurate and your own, and that you will deliver services safely, professionally and in line with applicable health and hygiene standards. You must complete identity verification when asked and keep your payout details correct.
You are responsible for the products you use and the outcome of your work. You must hold any insurance or licences the law requires for your services.
8. Conduct
You must not use Spa2You to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone; to arrange payment outside the app for a booking made through it; to post content that is unlawful, misleading, obscene or infringes someone else's rights; to create fake reviews, bookings or accounts; or to interfere with the app, its security or other users' data.
We may remove content, suspend or close accounts, cancel bookings and withhold payouts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, and we may report unlawful behaviour to the authorities.
9. Reviews and content
Customers may review a provider after a completed booking. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you post, and you give Spa2You a licence to display them in the app and in Spa2You's own marketing of the platform. You confirm that you have the right to post whatever you upload.
10. Verification and safety
We verify emails, phone numbers and, for providers, identity documents, and we hold payments in escrow. These measures reduce risk but do not guarantee any provider's skill or any customer's conduct. Use your own judgement, meet in the arranged place, and report any concern to support immediately.
11. Liability
Spa2You provides the platform "as is". To the fullest extent Nigerian law allows, Spa2You is not liable for the acts or omissions of providers or customers, for the quality or outcome of any service, for injury, loss or damage arising from a service, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid through Spa2You for the booking concerned.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Security → Delete account in the app or from the Delete account page on the web. Deletion is permanent and is described in our Privacy Policy. If a booking of yours still has money in escrow or a payout in progress, deletion waits until it settles.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering Spa2You. Sections that by their nature should survive — payments owed, liability, disputes — continue to apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use Spa2You afterwards means you accept the new Terms.
14. Disputes and governing law
If you have a problem with a booking, contact the other party in the app first, then contact support at support@spa2you.com. We will try to resolve disputes fairly and quickly, and we may make the final decision on releasing or refunding money held in escrow.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved between us.
